Vocal Producer I Mix Engineer
Chris Young is a vocal producer and mix engineer based in Kent, just an hour from London. His career began at Sony Music Studios, where he worked alongside Mike Ross Trevor, recording 80-piece orchestras for Academy Award–nominated scores including Girl With A Pearl Earring and Finding Neverland. Bringing decades of experience, Chris combines musical sensitivity with technical precision across every project.
He has worked with artists including Kylie Minogue, The Corrs, Mabel, Rod Stewart, and Lionel Richie, with credits spanning major labels such as Universal, Warner, and Sony. As the former owner of Chestnut Studios in West London, Chris spent 15 years developing his reputation as a trusted vocal producer and mix engineer, collaborating with leading artists, producers, and brands including Armani, Coca-Cola, and Vodafone.
Career highlights include co-producing The Corrs’ gold-certified White Light album, writing Girls’ Generation’s #1 hit Party, and contributing to projects for Family Guy with Simon Cowell.
Today, Chris focuses on vocal production and mix engineering for artists, producers, and media projects.
